Rotterdam’s Blue Buildings

The borough of Delfshaven in Rotterdam approached Schildersbedrijf N&F Hijnen to come up with an interesting approach to liven up a block derelict buildings that were slated for possible demolition. Their solution? Spray on a 2 micron layer of vivid blue latex paint. The result? It turned a stretch of the most unnoticed buildings in the city into the most photographed ones.
